Is it time to do another workshop in Bangalore?

Had a great time at the meet. Good to see lots of familiar faces and several first time participants too.

Big thanks to Raghu and Anutone for providing us their facility. Thanks to George, Anilva, ShivaPrashanth (soundnovice), John_k_Anthony, Vivek Rao and t_anthony for volunteering their time. Thanks also to Byju and Siva for participating in the event, taking the effort to bring and setup their equipment. It was very interesting to hear Siva share his perspective on audio reproduction.

Prajith, Narendra: Nice pics, keep them coming. Thanks :)

Big thanks to you Santhosh for taking the mantle of running the event for the day. It was a very good event and done in a very informal setting and with good breaks for networking.

Thanks specially to George, Anutone, Baiju and Shiva for making this happen.

Initially when I was chatting up with Shiva he was quite and was not forthcoming. But later I realized that when he went up for the demo, he had to say a lot and probably is the reason, he did not want to mess up his views in short conversations. Very good insights into his beliefs on music and reproduction.

Cheers.

George/Santosh: Kudos to you for making this work. have always missed the Bangalore meets due to some reason or the other and am really glad could make it this time and meet everyone. Thank you for getting me in despite the short notice.
It was exteremely nice of Anutone for the facilities and playing hosts. I did not even know there was an INdia company in this business..looking forward to your B2C offerings

Baiju and his team. great to see your enthusiasm in this area. Wish you all the very best in your venture and doing well in your endeavour
Any discussion with Siva ( who is not on the forum) on audio is always enlightening and the explanation of the mid bass bloom due to passive crossovers was pretty eye opening. Ditto about how many of us confuse midbass bumps with depth in bass
Was great to catchup with forum members known in the past as well as the larger number known now :)

I had a good time at the meet, special thanks to George, Santhosh, Anutone, Byju, Shiva and all others who helped in making this happen.

It was insightful listening to Shiva's views in music reproduction prior to listening to the system he built.

All the best to Byju and team and kudos to your enthusiasm. I really liked the steampunk look of the A-150.

It was good to to see familiar faces and to reconnect with like minded souls.

Sorry guys for chipping in late. I had a family function to attend and drove off to Cochin by mid day, missed out on what I am sue was an outstanding session from Acoustic Portrait. I had already listened to AA Labs equipment both in Madras as well as at Byju's place in Kerala, but the 845s sounded very mice for the short time I listened to them.

The turnout was heartening, and thanks to everyone who made it happen-AA Labs, Acoustic Portrait, for the auditions, Anutone as always for the space, and all of the people who gave up their Sunday to come and listen. I do believe that encouraging our home entrepreneurs in this field is something that we should actively do..

Cheers
