Guys do confirm by today, or don't whine on Sunday when you are asked to pay for lunch( and see us having free lunch)

Thanks to all the others who responded and confirmed.

Cheers

Sorry if I missed it

Is the following information correct?

Venue is Anatone Indranagar at what time?- How long to you expect it to last and what is the agenda?

Hello all,

Is anyone living near the Banshankari bus stand area going to the workshop? I would like to tag along with them in their car/bike if it is alright. I will be carrying along a blu ray player for the workshop which is heavy in its own right. Saves me the hassle of carting it in a bus all the way to Indira Nagar.

Can someone give me a ride? Please PM me to set it up. Thanks.

George I would gladly be the camera man but my camera is also acting up now.

Vinod

Had a brilliant time at the hifi audio meet today. Many thanks to GeorgeO, Santhosh, Raghumailbox and others for making this happen. Auditioned tube amps, cadence speakers from analog audio as well as acoustic portrait gear. More importantly, I got to meet and interact with many of the blore based hfv members. Great stuff !

Had a great day and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thanks to George and Santhosh for organizing the meet, Raghu and Anutone for being the gracious host as always and Byju Chacko and gang for getting their gear all the way from down south and Siva for getting his gear.

The first half was a promising audition of tube amps. A good option for people looking to explore tube sound. The gear seemed very well made too. Would have loved to hear the 300B amp but it was not in the bunch of amps they lugged over. The Dared 845s stood out for their clarity and power. It's awesome that someone is following his dream and doing his own thing. Cheers to Byju. (hope I got the spelling right!)

For those wanting a genuine option to the regular commercial gear, they should stopover at Siva's house. He has a definite philosophy of how he wants to make gear and it reflects in the choices he makes while building his gear, eg point 1 tolerance resistors and choosing industrial components over audiophile ones for their specs and reliability. Two tracks that stood out were the ella one and the big band jazz track. Room filling sound with lovely realistic tone and the dynamics of hi res tracks from HD tracks. Definitely worth a stop over and chat and listen if one is of the digital persuasion. The gear looks gorgeous too, very well made warm wood feel.

Jayant, if you're reading this PM me your number. Will invite you over for a listen when I set up my turntable and system. Would love to drop in also some day to listen to the Rega.

Prajith that's some nice photography! I can see that you've got an eye for it.

Regards

It was a wonderful experience in the workshop today.

Thank you George, Santosh, Raghu and Anutone for getting a great show organised.

Thank you Byju and group for lugging in all your Tubes/with the combo of Cadence/fountek (locally arranged if I am not wrong) all the way from "Gods own" down here to Bangalore. Proud that someone has started this great venture. Wish you all the best from me.

Shiva's presentation of AP was an eye opener in terms of the Industrial looking/quality of but good looking components and the comparisons of the PCM, FLAC and 96/24 khz format presentation and its differentiations. Was once again an eye opener for the likes of me.

Had to leave at about 3.30pm due to logistic reasons. I hope I didn't miss too much in the end.

Wonderful and simple food and fare and thanks to one and all involved in organising this lovely event.

Prajith thanks for the photos. Even I look nice in it!

It was really a wonderful time getting know about the world of tubes and other HiFi equipment.

A special thanks to George and his team for such a lovely opportunity. It was nice to meet our members and looking for more such events.

Had a lovely day today. Thanks to the efforts of George, Santosh and Raghu.

Byju and team ...thanks for lugging across the equipment all the way. Liked the gear and
the variety covered. All the best.....am sure there is one for anyone looking to get into tubes.

Siva - been hearing a lot of your products and finally got to hear them...your demo of various singers singing the same song was very revealing...and I think I got your philosophy in sound too....very eye opening...

And then of course I got to reconnect with a whole lot of like minded souls....

thank you HFV....

A big thanks to the organizers and sponsors of today's wonderful event. I really enjoyed putting faces to the handles. I am sure I missed meeting many people - I was pleasantly surprised that it was so well attended - but I hope to have the opportunity at other such meets.
Thanks also to the all involved in bringing and setting up the gear..very interesting to hear.
And of course a big thanks to Anutone for the venue and the lunch (which was really good)!

It was really fun meeting other forum members and understanding more about the hifi world. Music was so amazing, never heard such nice music earlier.

Thanks a lot to all the organizers, sponsors and Fellow members who made this event a big one.

Regards.

Had a great time at the meet. Good to see lots of familiar faces and several first time participants too.

Big thanks to Raghu and Anutone for providing us their facility. Thanks to George, Anilva, ShivaPrashanth (soundnovice), John_k_Anthony, Vivek Rao and t_anthony for volunteering their time. Thanks also to Byju and Siva for participating in the event, taking the effort to bring and setup their equipment. It was very interesting to hear Siva share his perspective on audio reproduction.

Prajith, Narendra: Nice pics, keep them coming. Thanks :)
