This, I am asking as a general question. No intention to buy, but figured if in good condition is a great buy. New ones cost 4 times as much.
Is this worth a deal?

If these are not serviced one's then may be it's worth... but it will be very hard to identify this.

In general, most AVRs today are so pricey that old preowned AVRs can be a good option to begin with. I was lucky to get a 2700 Denon within warranty period from preowned olx deal for 65k plus two satellites onkyo speakers as compliment(worth easily 12k for the pair) from the seller. And a vintage pioneer avr for next to nothing. To general service it, pioneer service center charged me 4500 but even that included was a great deal. But olx preowned is like a rub of the green. You win some, you lose some.
