Recently sold my HT setup (Marantz SR3001 AVR + Jamo S606 5.1 speaker set) because I want to upgrade and focus purely on the music.

Have decided on an amp (the Marantz PM7003) and looking to finalize the speaker pair. Narrowed it down to either the Jamo C607 or the Wharfedale Diamond 10.7.

Mark Knopfler is my favorite artist so I want speakers to match his music.

Any inputs/feedback appreciated.

Hi
I prefer you to go for Jamo 605 where it produce punch and sweetness in the vocals. E607 is good to for light music. Also with Marantz it will give u good vocals, with Yamaha is produces the punch .

Thanks you
Siby

Since I have played a few tracks of Dire Straits on both the Wharfedales and Jamo 605 and 607. I prefer the Jamo 605 to the other two. Between the 605 and 607 its close so you need to hear different genres to take a call.

The wharfedales have much more punch in the bass side but I personally dont like that. The jamo's give better representation for guitars.

Do hear a lot of music before you decide.

thanks for the feedback guys. i'm personally leaning towards the Jamo as it makes a great pairing with the marantz, and the mid-range detail is superb.
