Kef ls50-wireless- Not playing file formats it's supposed to

Hi, I am playing files off a media server (hard disc attached to a dlna capable router - Asus DSL AC 68u) to my kef ls50-wireless speakers using the kef app on my phone. It plays wav and FLAC files, but I have a lot of AIFF files and the app doesn't recognise those files as music files.

Now the FAQ on the kef website says that aif files are supported, hence don't know why this is happening. Any solutions?

Hi

You say you have a lot of AIFF files and the FAQs say it supports AIF.....F is missing or are there two different types?

Most players say it will support etc....does not 100% guarantee it will.....that's the way electronics are ....

AIFF is the name and aif is the extension. Anyways as per their website both aiff and aif extensions are supported.
