any place/shop you can suggest to buy reliable used Laptop?

I don't know any unfortunately. My friend knows someone who sells refurbished enterprise gear (servers, work-stations, laptop etc.) but yes, his prices are higher than what I got it for.

please buy with "extended warranty / repair" if possible - even if costs slightly extra - especially if you are buying for kids, as most of the budget versions are notoriously famous for "dying" soon after the initial warranty period !
