You need a subwoofer with high sensitivity...
15" or below Sealed subs won't do the job..
High sensitivity ported subs is the answer.. Svs , Rythmik won't do the job..

definitely ignore ported subwoofers which have more spl in low end and lack spl in midbass. Sealed is your answer. what is your room length and width

Ported subs with good sensitivity in the 40-80hz region would do better job when compared to sealed.
It's a myth that sealed subs sound better than ported.
Fact is well designed ported subs reign supreme Untill one is spending exorbitant money ( 10 lakhs plus)

Pb 2000 pro did nit work for me. I tried to tune with dirac as well

I'm in the market for a 12" Subwoofer primarily for listening to music (genres include classic rock, prog rock and some fusion). I'm aiming for tight, accurate bass rather than a boomy or overpowering low end. This will be part of a 2.1 setup.

My setup:
Room: 300 sq ft
Budget: 50 - 90k
Receiver: Onkyo RZXX
Music/ Movies: 80/20%
Sealed/ Ported: Leaning towards sealed

I'd appreciate any recommendations/ brands/ models this fabulous community had good experiences with. Would also be happy to hear about must avoid options.
