Yes. I have been using something like this for all my equipments ever since the electricity distribution companies have increased tolerance as part of domestic voltage standards. Since then I have not lost even one device.
Thanks how do I judge it’s capacity- I mean how to understand if this is sufficient for a HT or projector or AVR etc

Generally "divide total load (in watts) by Input voltage" = Ampere (amps) needed.
e.g - total load 500watts / 220v = 2.3amps.
In-rush load may go up upto 75% higher than whats stated on product. So always look for max load/watts/amps specified in User manual, and calculate based on that.
Always go for atleast 25% extra amps.
