Friends,

In spite of certain LPs being clean slight hiss and pop sound is heard while playing them.Is it normal or some dust is embedded in the grooves?I request our fellow members to kindly let me know if it is possible to mitigate this problem.

Thanking you,

Sure it's the amp or the speakers that are not doing it? Check ground wire if you have too.

The Hiss and Pops are inherent in Vinyl. This can vary from too much to too little in records.

Now, you say that particular record is clean, why don’t you try a round of cleaning with IPA and Water and see if that makes a difference, otherwise it’s just the record.

PS: There are many threads on this forum on cleaning records, do have a read.

I thank all fellow members for your immediate response and suggestions.I will try them out.Thank you.
