Hi all,

I have vintage LSK-300 Kenwood stereo speakers.
The 60mm tweeter has been damaged while cleaning (!).

Please help me by providing the information for replacement for this TWEETER:
1. Paper cone Type
2. 60mm tweeter (I dont know what this means)
3. impedence 8ohm

Thanks in advance.

Cone tweeters are usually made out of paper, essentially scaled-down woofers, with lighter cones, thinner voice coils. Have limited high frequency response than a dome tweeter.

Have you removed the tweeters... is it similar to this?
Don't know the availability of a drop in replacement though.

Hi # I have polkaudio tweeter silver coloured round shape 2no r you interested in buying??

You might find it difficult to get the mounting holes to match. In that case you can make an adapter plate and mount a regularly available tweeter using the plate

Thank you all for helping me, i uderstand that i need to make an adapter plate and mount the tweeters.
I'm not sure if I can get the original Trio Kenwood tweeters anymore,

So, I would like to replace it with brand new tweeters. any suggestions, please ?

Could you please let me know what would be frequency response range for the tweeter shown above ?
Also, how much watts should it support?

Thank you !
