Was looking for a CDP, MARANTZ CD 6007 sells for 34.5 k in HIFIMART, but for 99k in other Indian online stores and for $500-800 overseas. How come such a huge difference in pricing and HFM price is so low, am I missing something here?

You should buy it before the price increases Hifimart is authorised seller for many brands here. Avoid other websites.

Official prices of Marantz products are meaningless. Usually available for half or less. That's from the official dealers with bill and warranty.
If you are getting good prices at HFV, grab it before it goes.
