.

With all this talk about vintage stuff I would really need to know other FM's advice about selling my Kenwwod Ka2200 amp.

I am having a feeling that it is only my 'upgraditis' which is making me look at the newer ones in search of better SQ. The specs for the amp as I found on net is--
Frequency response: 0Hz to 200kHz
Total harmonic distortion: 0.003%
Damping factor: 1000
Input sensitivity: 0.1mV (MC), 2.5mV (MM), 150mV (line)
Signal to noise ratio: 70dB (MC), 88dB (MM), 110dB (line)
Output: 150mV (line), 30mV (DIN)
Speaker load impedance: 4 to 16 ohms

Power output 135 w at 8 ohms per channel

Will love to get a feedback from FM's.

sjith, I am no longer using the PM80.... it got sold a while back.... but when i was using it I was using a 9 year old creative sound blaster.... which then got replaced by a nuforce dac1.

the nuforce dac1 was pretty decent for the price... but nowadays you can get a stonker dac like the audioquest dragonfly for a pittance!

Go for it!
