What is the main difference between these two receivers?
Any notable difference in sound quality specially in stereo mode?
What is the main difference between these two receivers?
What is the price difference between the two ?..

Hi
If you have auditioned both with the same music content or movie clip...you need to decide now as you are the end user...
Hope you auditioned on the same set of speakers...since most are quoting that the specs are same except the price factor, you need to make an informed decision.....
Its very difficult to audition on both receivers with my boston a360 speakers as its very heavy to handle.. so i seek some expert's suggestions..
Where are you based?

My usage is 60% for music and 40 % for movie ...now im using onkyo midrange receiver with marantz pm7005 amp for stereo music ..now im thinking about to upgrade my receiver , im very much satisfied with the sound quality of pm7005 integrated amp ,my main sources are flac , alac, 320kbps mp3s through usb port of onkyo receiver and amp connected to lineout from receiver .my onkyo have no preouts ..only lineout.I have used Yamaha, Denon Mid Range AV Receiver and using flagship Marantz SR 7010 currently. If your AVR usage for music is anywhere more than 25% don't buy Denon. Else Denon does a great job for HT purposes. in fact never used to listen music from Denon x2200w.
Now I do not see myself going back to Denon anytime soon. Most of the forums they mention that Marantz SR series has better quality components, a argument which you can't easily find a evidence in favour or against. Finally it all boils down to individual choice, if it is purely for HT purposes, I don't think you should be paying extra for Marantz.
