The Marathi Movie "Lagna Pahave Karun" is co-produced by my co-brother Mohan Damle. It takes a fresh look at "arranged marriages" and the tradition of marrying by matching kundali. It is a nice movie. I recommend you to watch the movie (not because of my relation) but because it a good movie and you will like it.

Actually, i never asked the financial details. .Marathi movies do okay at the bo. But more than that it is heartening to note that they are not sticking to formula and cliche and have taken challenging subjects of late. One such movie was "Balak Palak" (produced by Riteish Deshmukh) that dealt with child sex education (or the lack of it).
