And, if it has a USB socket, then it is a computer accessory!

All USB DACs, at least, should be declared as computer related, not hifi.

Got the explorer today. Raju was right, shipping and duty in my case was about Rs.1200 plus $150. I listened to it for an hour or so. Ok on initial listening there was no night and day difference compared to AQ, but where the explorer was clearly superior was with hi-rez files. For me the telling factor of hi-rez files is how the dynamic range increases when compared to standard rez, an effect I didn't quite realize with the AQ. I also felt that the explorer was warmer sounding whereas the AQ sounded slightly clinical. So I will listen to it for the next few days, but I think I am going to keep it. The AQ will be up for sale soon.
