you can make out the watermark from this screenshot... You have awesome vision power.......... but seriously all channels have this watermark problem specially all sun channels... I feel they shld add a clip saying every 10 secs you are watching sun channel enjoy the experience.... :p...

they do have some kind of 'security mark' every few minutes.. and till that mark is there (for about 30 seconds) you can't do anything with remote..

Update on audio/video quality after watching a few more movies.

Video: 7.0 out of 10
1920x1080i
Ranges from very good to poor. Varies quite a bit from movie to movie.
Picture pixelates and breaks up at times. (Noticed it only a couple of times in a period of 4 hrs)
Movies not shown in their original aspect ratio. All movies are panned and scanned to 16:9 aspect ratio, even the movies that are originally in 2.35:1

Audio: 5.0 out of 10 (The low score is primarily due to the excessively high volume level)
Dolby Digital 5.1
Overall sound quality is pretty good. Like the picture, varies from movie to movie.
Volume level during the movies is too loud. But during promos, the volume is absolutely and ridiculously too high. Industry standards are not being followed at all and it seems the 'Movie Now' technicians think that LOUD is good.

Other: 3.0 out of 10
The 'NOW' portion of the 'Movies Now' logo is too bright and distracting. The logo should be smaller and made transparent.
Promotional banners keep appearing in the top left corner. Very unprofessional and not consumer friendly.
The promos between two movies, are quite long.
The audio on channel promos is not mixed for 5.1 channels.
All movies are shown with English subtitles, which is not only jujst stupid but very very annoying and makes enjoying the movie almost impossible. The least they can do is reduce the font size of the subtitles.

SunDirect HD: 3.0 out of 10 (Points earned solely for being the first DTH service to carry the channel)
Logo is too big and loud. It is also placed too high and should be moved a few inches down.
Reprehensible second 'watermark' stating 'SUN DIRECT HD' in the middle of the screen towards the left side of the screen.
VC Number flashes in the middle of screen in HUGE, FLASHY COLORS intermittently.
All remote control functions are disabled durign the time the VC number flashes on screen.

So far the reprehensible 'watermark' is still very much there and it seems highly unlikely a company such as Sun Direct is going to heed anything we consumers have to say. Only if a huge number of customers complain to Sun Direct, would they maybe listen and remove the 'watermark'. Which ofcourse will not happen due to the apathy of the average Indian consumer.
