i was just kidding above..but you know when you hear " What they dont tell you" etc..its usually a nice and theoretical discussion but nothing ever gets.
Even here we can all agree yes we need to do something but who will do , what and when never gets worked out !

There is an element of truth in all good humor and I felt you alluded to a deeper question:
Why do we feel the need to engage on some issues more than others?

A recent incident brought this question to the fore. Garbage has been piling up on the public side walk just outside the compound wall where I rent an apartment. I tried requesting the management committee to clear it up but no one replied. Feeling a bit frustrated I sent a message on the group chat saying I would be cleaning up the place and invited others to join. Surprisingly the place did get cleaned up next day thanks to the MC. I am guessing many were waiting for “the government to do something” as it was a public area.
I am not sure what I learned from this incident but it feels good to see the place clean.

if you follow linked in, most articles there are Ai generated..and very naturally the mind does not feel as engaged. My guess of the end result is more content than readers want to consume

I am sure the same is true for Ai generated reading content...in the end the creative humans who leverage AI will be the ones who will do well and human writing will flourish

AI is great for combing through facts from several documents and summarize/combine etc..but to evoke emotion, as of now it still needs a human.

I do agree.
AI has its uses, specially notable in the sciences where huge amounts of data need to be made sense of.
The explosive use of social media (linkd in is one?) in the past decade for everything under the sun makes it inevitable for the use of AI in content generation. Humans we can hold accountable for what they write and express…. But AI?

Reranking partisan animosity in algorithmic social media feeds alters affective polarization​

Social media platforms’ opaque feed-ranking algorithms, which are designed to maximize engagement, may contribute to political polarization, body image, mental health, and other social issues. However, the evidence has rarely enabled conclusions about causality because external researchers need platforms’ permission to experimentally intervene. Collaborations with platforms also involve trade-offs that undermine researchers’ intellectual autonomy. Piccardi et al. circumvented this problem with a browser extension that intercepted feeds on X/Twitter in real time using a large language model (LLM) (see the Perspective by Allen and Tucker). Liberals and conservatives were randomly assigned to conditions where the LLM re-ranked feeds to up-rank or down-rank the visibility of hostile political content. Up-ranking increased political polarization, whereas down-ranking decreased it. This LLM tool enabled independent scholars to pull back the curtain on unresolved research questions without the platform’s permission.

I believe this is less about AI and more about digital screens..this has been sadly happening in so many urban and even rural homes where the child is given a smartphone and they keep watching stupid stuff like cat videos on you tube.
This is irrespective of the financial or education level of the parents.
