Musical Fidelity M1 DAC: no signal output

Hi guys,
I'm really worried about my M1, it gets power and the lights on the front turn on, and my computer still recognizes it, but it will not output any sound. I've tried every cord and tried different USB ports, a different computer, and nothing works.
Any help to troubleshoot would be much appreciated.

Have you tried optical or coaxial?

If you switch output modes from your player software, still no sound? Is there any error message shown in any output mode?
