Hats off to you. You really are amazing when it comes to digging up info from net. I wish you can get me some information about Thorens CD-53 as some parts are missing and can be restored only if more info is obtained. thanks in advance

I have (so called) upgraded my first OB by adding one LF driver per channel and driving it with active cross over.

Here is the photograph.

I have used Creative's sound card and Foobar combination for cross over and added a cheap stereo amplifier for the LF driver.

Net effect is a lot more bass, definitive bass without loosing wonderful mid or adding any colour to it.

I thank Soundnovice for being there in those frustrating times.

Edit for adding that I have relocated tweeters at the back of the baffle and they are now facing roof. I think it took out some harshness away and extended the hight of the image.
