Need replacement of the Pick-up unit in Ayon CD1s

The Sony pick up unit (Sony KSS-213Q) in my Ayon Cd1s is giving problem of not reading the CDs in some occasions. Cleaned the lens with clean dry cloth but the problem still persists.

Can you guys suggest a good expert mechanic at Delhi, who can replace the pick up unit in my CDP. Also, where to get the pick up unit from. Does the model KSS-213Q is compulsory or any other model can be fitted?

very :sad: news & way too early for this sort of a thing from Ayon.
It has to be replaced with exactly a same optical pickup i.e. KSS-213Q and nothing else.

It also needs to be aligned for RF Pattern Focus (as you'll see a trimpot on the Optical Block for that) using reference test CDs made by Sony called YEDS-7 & YEDS-18, oscilloscope & most importantly proper electrostatic discharge equip, workbench & wristband that practically none in India wear. Wonder where this sort of expertise exists in Delhi.

Be very wary about duplicate KSS-213Q from China & Taiwan. They look the same, while last for a very short while like 3-6 months or some more. The Original Sony from Japan is expensive.
