Need Suggestion for My Audio Equip Invesment??

I want to invest on audio but i am not sure to invest either in headphone/USB DAC??

Now my audio sources -iphone 5s & Acer Laptop
Music Format -Mp3s only

Currently using Headphone-Grado Igrado(modded)
My preferable phones are-B&W p7,KEF M500,B&O H6,Beyerdynamics t51i etc.

My preferable DAC are Low powered DAC-Audioengine D3,Apogee Groove & HRT Microstremer etc.
[[don't like to have battery powered;as i am worry about durability ]]

So Out of headphone or DAC;on which investment will be get improvement in sound Quality.

Any suggestion is Welcome.Thanks.

DAC won't help. Headphones will. Buy better headphones if you have the money.

+1 for Headphones.
DACs help very little in comparison with headphones (only if you are getting an upgrade in your headphone. If you are going to get a similar headphone to the one you have atm, a DAC might be more useful). But imo a headphone upgrade is better than getting a DAC.
