Hi folks!

Im a new member. Need to be advised on LCD (Full-HD)-Dish TV receiver connection. Is it worth to go for a full hd LCD TV for a Dishtv rcv? Is there a betterway to connect Dish TV to LCD TV for better picture quality (compared to V-out, A-L, A-R)? Whats the function 'Serial out' on the Zenega Cd-1004is rcv? An experts view would be much appreciated. Thanks!;)

Hi Binoy,

Welcome to Hifivision. You may benefit from a full-HD LCD if your satellite television provider offers HDTV broadcast. Since I do not know if Dubai has HDTV or not, I cannot comment. If your broadcast is at standard resolution, you will benefit from buying a television that has a high-quality scaler.

The order of quality of analog connections is as follows: Component > S-Video > Composite > Co-axial. So, if your service provider can supply you with an RCV that features component output or HDMI you would be better off.
