NO Signal on Tatasky HD

For past two days, there is no Signal from TataSky on my STB.

My account in under Annual Mega pack hence the failure of reactivation is ruled out because subscription started on 1-10-2010.

Can anyone help me in finding the actual fault or if anyone can help in resetting the STB to see whether it is a problem of STB or something else.

Remove the smart card from ur digicomp, den insert it back to see if u get the channels. Or it might be misalingment of ur dish as well.

It is advisable to call the helpline if under warranty.

Initially I thought that may be problem with the SmartCard.

I removed the card several times and inserted again but it did not worked.

I called up Helpline and their engineer came few minutes back and found that my previous Cable guy intentionally changed the angle of Dish from 72 Deg. to 88 deg.

Next time when the Cable guy will come in my building, I'll take him to task.

The Technician who came said that such type of realignment is on chargeable basis in future even though the STB is under warranty. Now it is working fine.

btw Tata Sky is on 83 E (Insat 4A) not on 72.

Yes, Jignesh I know it is at 83 deg. east but the dish orientation angle in our area is set to 72 deg at ground level to wards the sky.
