I have a Q Acoustics M20 HD which is connected to my TV via optical cable, a week ago they suddenly stopped producing sound while watching a movie.
What works:
What I have tried:
There is no sound what so ever. Basically, everything works apart from the sound from the speakers.
These were purchased more than 2 years back so out of warranty.
I would appreciate if someone could suggest me next course of action to get them working either via some sort of DIY or official/local repair.

What works:
- Speaker mode indicator on top of the speakers.
- Speaker mode light responds to remote button press.
- All modes (this shows different color light for each mode).
- Bluetooth connection to phone.
- Volume up-down response on the light.
- USB connection shows on the laptop.
- Basically everything except they don't produce any sound.
- No sound from speakers.
What I have tried:
- Connect/disconnect from power source.
- Reconnect the optical cable.
- Keep them powered off for 2 days and then reconnect.
- Play via USB.
- Play via Bluetooth.
