I have a F&D 2.1 PC speakers. I have removed it from my pc and connected it to the 3.5mm jack of my videocon d2h (available on the back of Videocon D2h) set top box. The HDMI is also connected from Videoon D2H to my LG Full HD LED TV. I have entered the TV audio settings and turned of the TV speakers.
So output audio from the set top box is played through my 2.1 speakers and the video is played on my TV.
I dont have any problems with the video quality. Its just great
Now when ever the speakers and set top box are on, i hear a noise something like 'sshhhhhhhhhhh'. It is mild noise and it increases as i increase the volume of my speakers. This noise comes from the 2 speakers and the woofer remains silent. I get the actual audio output on top of this noise and when i mute the audio from my set top box, the actual audio mutes and this noise('shhhhhhh') still remains
The audio output of the speakers are very good.. Just that this noise is disturbing when i listen to it closely
There is no problem with the speakers as it remains silent(when nothing is being played) when I connect to my PC and just plays the audio fine when some audio is being played on my PC.
How do I overcome this problem!
