Official Warranty of Denon & Marantz Products in India

Hi I recently bought a denon receiver from US a month back.. I told me that it will work in India on 220 volts... When I plugged it in I saw smoke coming out of it.. I live in jaipur rajasthan and I am not getting any service center here.. Pl help

Oh man. Didn't you check the label at the back before plugging in? Some devices have a switch to select the correct voltage. Did it comes with global warranty? If not, I doubt the service center will entertain.
