onkyo 3400 help plzzzzzz

hi

i am a complete dumb in the field of audio, few days back i accidently reseted my onkyo 3400 system to factory defaults now the sound is not coming like before, can anyone help me out by posting all the settings of variuos options like speaker config, level cal, speaker distance bass treble etc. i know there are some threads regarding these but i am not able to understand as i have zero tech understanding, so plz help me out, thanx in advance

true....very true...but he just want a standard setting...he resteed and cannot get the sound as before...doing trial and error with my given settng and with some little more and little less.....the desired outpput can be reached...

Just another question what should be the ideal hight of 3400 surround speaker. Ear level or higher than ear level.

surrounds always 1-2ft above ear level

thanx to all of you for helping me out, one more problem i m facing when in level cal i am setting surround left to anything more than 0db like 4db, there is audio jitter, however all other speakers incl surr right are fine, i checked the wiring of speaker replugged the wire still problem is persisting any idea what can be the cause of the issue

Old post, you may have figured it out already, but...
Try exchanging the wires for surround left and right at Onkyo end. If the problem moves to the other speaker, it's the wiring or receiver at fault, otherwise the speaker.
