Onkyo 508 Discontinued??

Hey guys,

recently visited The Shop in Andheri.. The guy there, Jignesh, told me that the Onkyo 508 receiver has been discontinued and that onkyo will now only carry the 308 and 608..

Is this true?? Can anyone confirm this?

Not sure,but perhaps not much sale of 508,so may be out of market.

The last I heard was that they were pushing the 508 and keeping the 308 on low-key.

you could have visited 10-15 more shops and could have inferred that onkyo is out if business because each shop would have told u abt one model (which they dont deal or have in stock) that has been discontinued and that consolidated list would be the entire range of onkyo products hyeah:

pls refer to official website for confirmation..pls just dont go by what the dealer says!

It is a 2010 model, however it is difficult to get it easily, it is easily available through online purchases, Its a fact that most of the dealers have no clue about the latest models, most of them want to clear out their other stocks.
