I have a living room of 18' x 16'.
Listen to music a lot (60% of the time) and 30% movies and TV and 10% games.
Since, i dont want to run wires through the room right now, only planning to purchase front speakers. Over time (in the next 1-2 years), I will purchase the rest of the speakers to make it 5.1 and also for multi room.
The AV should be future proof for at least some years to come.
So, I am planning to purchase a Onkyo 646 in India (feature packed).
and I plan to purchase Focal 714v for front two.
1. Would this be the right combination Onkyo 646 and Focal 714v.
2. Any other speakers for the above conditions ? or better suited with Onkyo 646?
3. I am NOT an audiophile (yet, i guess)... Onkyo 814's were a bit large for the size, so did not go with them. Also, the sound were a bit uneasy to hear, probably it was bit too "booming" for my ears.
