Hi,
I was searching for a 2.1 setup (will be upgrading later to 5.1) last year, when I brought Onkyo TX-NR828 from dubai but I dropped it due to budget problem. Now I'm planning to buy Floor Standing & Sub this new year.
I have listed few FS which is in my mind but need advise from others. Any how I will do the audition but before that I just want to know about other floor standing too.
Floor standing should be good for both Music & movies.
1. RTi A7 - Seems like it is good for movies, from the earlier post I read.
2. TSX550T - Everything was good, but I saw somewhere those speakers will not produce clear sound.
3. Polk Monitor 75T, KEF Q500 - No idea
Sub- woofers in my list
1. SVS SB-1000
2. Velodyne Impact-12
Another Important thing, in my receiver it was mentioned watts as
Rated Output
Power All channels:
130 watts minimum continuous power per channel,
8 ohm loads,
2 channels driven from 20 Hz to 20 kHz,
with a maximum total harmonic distortion of 0.08% (FTC)
(North American)
7 ch 180 W at 6 ohms, 1 kHz, 1 ch driven of 1% (IEC)
(Others)
Maximum Effective Output Power 7 ch 215 W at 6 ohms, 1 kHz, 1 ch driven (JEITA) (Australian)
So, I should consider FTC here. ?
