Hi,
I have tried the hair dryer idea, done reset too, have checked all the wires too. But still no sound is coming from the speaker. Pfa the pics (yellow encircled) .
There is some sticky thing on the board. Can I remove that using some flat screw driver or any such material ? Will it make matters more worse ?
Also I m getting the strings of ? . After I get the strings of ? I clicked on Tone +, I got the version and then clicked on "display" button, I get various numbers. As I keep clicking on Display button, various numbers are being seen on the display screen.

Seeing Pic 1 (the PCB), you may actually rip the routing trying to get the sticky stuff out.
Cheers,

I too had similar issue with my HTR-395. Was told by service center that STK board needs to be replaced and they are not available now. Was advised to buy new AVR. Hence, went ahead and bought Yamaha RX-V585.

Thanks for the response. Its really that bad situation. Btw , can the board get damaged , if we use home vacuum cleaner to clean the inside of the amplifier by using suction mode ? Another update is that I had switched on my amplifier. I got the usual click sounds. Just for testing purpose, I had connected the Front left speaker wires in A connector. Then plugged the input in Aux. No sound came. However, after sometime, just by touching the outer top surface , i could feel the warmth. So it means that power is going to the PCB board on which the DTS chip is soldered.

something strange happened. This time I again tried to get the numbers on the display.

Pl refer the earlier image in which "0A48K0N/004?x4" had appeared. Now I got a different number "0A48K0N/104?x4". I also observed that the 104 was continuously flickering as 104 and 504 . It blinked and showed as "104". ie "0A48K0N/104?x4" and then again blinked and showed "504" ie. "0A48K0N/504?x4"

Why is the number alternating between 104 and 504 ?

Moreover all those red indicators like "AAC", Dobly symbol, "dts", "ES-96/24" and green indicator like "PCM" and "EX" are blinking continuously.

What is the meaning of all this numbers and these blinking indicators ? 20200809_234100_2.jpg 20200809_233903_1.jpg
