Onkyo Vs Denon

Am still to decide between denon 1311 and onkyo 308.
Listened to both, which sound good.
My main purpose is movies.. music would be rare.
Yamaha Speakers NSP270.

Please suggest. Denon would be 17500 @grey market. Onkyo 22,500/- @bill warranty.

Finally I bought denon 1911:yahoo:

uhm, so what?Get the one that u like,not what others like.The Denon is a friggin awesome device and lots of my friends prefer them to Onkyos after audition whereas there are many others deciding the other way around.So, its a very close call between the two i would say.

Went in for Onkyo 308. Hope it would be worth the money. Bought for 22.5K. thanks everyone.

Denons have built in protection circuit for preventing clipping which I have not seen in any specs / reviews of Onkyo or Yamaha. Clipping if not handled may damage amp and speakers. Check the link below

Can I use 4 ohm loudspeakers with my Denon receiver or power amplifier?
