Dear FMs,

Here is Projector centrals guide to achieve the best gray/ color levels for the VFM acer projector.

It was difficult to get screenshots, but somehow managed to take it from an angle, hope it is helpful.

Go to color temperature select > user and then do the following settings. Turn brilliant color off. Make sure you keystone is also 0 to avoid any picture quality lose.

If you guys see any tweaks to better the image quality, do post.

HI spirovious, what matters is the second image, that is where the settings are mentioned... luckily that is clear.

am new to projectors so wanna know does it auto sets focus or we have to manually do it. as 2 of my friends are coming from states in december so waiting for blac friday/ christmas deals to pull the trigger and also my throw distance will be 9 feet.

You have to manually set the focus, it has auto keystone corrections. 9 feet is a pretty good distance. Use the distance calc in the other thread to see the image size you can get.

that solves my worry.. now just waiting for the prices to fall.. if it dosent fall also am still getting it... but greediness is being human..
