Mine reached Mumbai and in Custom clearance...how many days generally it takes for custom clearance?

OK, didnt have time to post..... Mine reached a full 7 days before the estimated delivery date . But the duty invoice which Aramex paid (they scanned a list of all items that came in with the duty paid) shows Rs. 13, 134 (about 29.4%)

They did not send me the original duty paid receipt with customs seal.....The amount charged by Amazon was around 11,600. Amazon also refunded Rs. 3000 odd.

So I am confused.... did any of you guys who used Aramex get the customs document of duty paid? or did Aramex only send you THEIR list?

I want to ask Aramex to send me the original customs duty receipt. What do you guys suggest?

BTW, I came back from work early in order to receive the PJ...was mighty impressed by the packaging.... and it worked right out of the box..

I have one word - A W E S O M E :clapping:

Now waiting for the extended HDMI cable to come. Will connect to my HT and get a drink and get immersed in the experience :yahoo:

Please let me know how you are going with screen.

I tried flexi, white cloth and now i have carl flexigrey screen.
Planning to make fixed wooden frame next week.
Also looking for wall mount 4 ft for projector.
If you have any ideas on mount / screen, do let me know.

I am selling it as I i am going for Acoustically Transparent Screen as I need to place my towers behind the screen due to space limitation.

IMPORTED MATT WHITE HIGH GAIN FABRIC

This is the Plain Black Coated Fabric(Back Side of the fabric is black in colour). Buyer has to mount the fabric on the wooden frame with the help of the professional carpenter and fix it permanently on the wall for viewing of the image from the projector. This fabric has the gain of 1.2 and the front side of the fabric is white colour and the back side of the fabric is black colour. This is worth buying material as compare to the heavily priced fixed frame screen

Congrats on your new PJ, and welcome to the club. Mine was sent through DHL, but I did get a bluray tv show box through Aramex. They simply sent a "to pay" customs duty invoice, only upon request. It did not show that they had actually paid the customs duty. In the Aramex case, Amazon refunded the duty without my asking.

1 Question to you,Which 3D Glasses you r using,and is there any headache while watching 3D (excuse me if my question is stupid but I am facing headache issue while watching 3D) may be glasses are not so good,so pls tell me which glasses you r using.

My research on DLP / LCD for last 30 days went fruitful and finally I purchased the PJ - HD141X from Amazon. This forums has given me lot of information on this product and shared your shopping experience in Amazon.com. With out you my decision would have taken more time to buy this product.

Thank you Guys... Now let me wait and watch if my Luck for getting the Duty refund.

Do I need to write Amazon for duty refund?
I have opted for Priority shipment. Any chance to get shipping charge refund if there is any delay in shipment?

No need to write. it may take some time but they will themselves do it. However if u have a proof or something by which u r sure about duty amount or that no duty was charged, then u can chat with customer care and they might do it earlier.

For delay in shipment definitely, for priority shipment its guaranteed refund if it gets delayed. U just have to tell them in chat. they ll instantly cross check with courier and initiate refund.

Projector is great but I noticed one issue while watching on tata sky, my hdmi connection keeps dropping randomly at every 10-15 mins and it re-handshake the hdmi connection, this same issue I faced on my plasma with HDMI(tatasky) when someone in house switch on/off lights/fan. My hdmi cables are 3-4 years old comes with tatasky and that's may be the issue.

Can someone share more info on this issue? and which hdmi cable should I use (need only 2 Meters cable)?.

This is just bcoz of damn HDMI Cable, i am sure it will go once you have better cable...

here is one you can try, this has resolved issue for me>
