Painting material for MDF speaker

Hello all,
Sorry for being absent in writting something for a long time, but I was reading all those post interesting to me.

I have a question. I want to paint MDF made speaker with shining paint.

Q1) Possible?
Q2) Which specification then it should be? I mean what name should I ask it with in the paint shop?

I would do two layers of spray paint(car) after a layer of wood primer. This will give a smooth solid look.
