PJ Advice needed

Hi,

I just know ordered, BenQ Joybee GP2 Mini HD projector for 36K from eBay, which would be shipped from US soon. My primary requirement for watching movies from my media player. Now my questions are as below :

1. I am having a 12.1 x 10.7 study room. Will this project would be good for the room. Also having a drawing room 13.9 x 11.7 for visitor viewing.

2. I'm planning for 100 inches projector screen, will this be sufficient for my both rooms upon requirements.

3. Where I can get projector screen in Hyderabad and shop details.

4. Does this PJ supports 3D content playing through media player or BD ?

Thank you, Saket. You are right, after ordering on eBay.co.in, I realized its availability in flipcart. :-(. Now, I had to wait for 20 more days.

Do you have any idea of projector screen in Hyderabad ?

Sorry, I cannot help on that specific location, but you should find it in some shops there. If not, there are many sellers who will be happy to ship you a screen at decent prices. One of them is Zoher in Mumbai:

Sorry to say that your PJ doesnt support 3D but good news is you can use BD player with this PJ as it supports HDMI. Though your PJ is not a full HD(1080P) projector still it plays good HD quality with 720P resolution.

Your room and the screen size is optimal for this projector.

Are you sure about the 3D thing? I have heard (but not yet tried) that the GP2 can do 120 Hz which makes it at least 3D ready through PC. I think, it will need a converter if playing directly from a B-ray player.

Any information will be welcome.
