For the music you have in mind, Harbeths would work very well provided they fit in your budget.

The other compact speaker that comes to mind is the PSB Imagine Mini

Do carry your amplifier & source if possible with you....and give a try with quad speakers...12L calssic with sub or 23L Classic....post your views......

i review Quad Classic 23L and 25L.
both were kind of good but not so great specially with that price tag.

the source was normal dvd player with marantz amp.
that is the reason that they didn't sound g8.

but today i auditioned harbeth. they wre good. i did audition @ prithvi's place. he is awsome guy. never push for anything but just play whetever u demended.

i auditioned them with brand new unburnt ammp but still they were smooth.

overall exp was good. Thanks to prithvi for giving dedicated time.

If you are keen on soundstage and position of the instruments..go for PSB.
for rest of the things you can go for any speakers mentioned above by forum members..
