Please suggest a Deal: ST30 - 55K, XT50-43K

There is hardly no difference between Xt50 and X50 when it comes to panel and picture quality other than that the former is 3D while the later is not.

Bhai if you dnt mind please dnt take any offence: did you get a chance to see XT50...

I have to buy it by Wednesday and cannot compare XT50 & ST30 side by side...

I have demoed ST and XT side by side...truly not very big difference..
yes in some particuler scenes of some particuler movie the diffrenece is visible...
for 8k difference ST is better...but at the same time...for weekly one blu ray and 6 day tv...XT is cool for saving 8k...
I know decision is more tough for you now...

Thanks J4k, however review is of X5, which is strange. All other website gave a thumbs up.

X5 and X50 may be different ??

Less reflections on the ST30 may also be worth taking into account depending on TV location.

OTOH, There's also the fact that the XT50 supports Samsungs cheap new 3D glasses, if you need add-ons or replacements in due course.

It's like monthly one blu ray....seven days hd channels and 3-4 days PS3......this 8k also includes ht as well xh170.....

Verse it's more touch to decide as I could also not see much difference apart from the fact that crispness was missing from picture...may be the word is detail or sharpness..kuch tini mini missing tha..also subtitles were floating if object was moving in background....

Bd looked equally good.....year confused like hell...huh huh huh huh huh

I purchased a Panasonic 42 inch Plasma TV model 42ST30D from Sargam Electronics, Rajouri Garden, Delhi. They assured me that the TV is sealed and new unit and Never Used. After Installing I found that the TV has signs of wear on rear. I checked the usage hours of the Set (Thanks to HiFi vision for providing knowledge and awareness :signthankspin and it was SHOCKING to found that the TV was used for more that 1300Hrs !!!!
I called up the Sargam guys and they denied initially but confessed later on that this was used as a Demo piece for 6-7 months. :sad: :sad: :sad: :sad: :sad:
they offered me a discount of 2.5 thousand, ( Sharam nahi aati $#%@ ko ). They finally agreed to refund my full money and took back the TV.
Sharing this fact with all of You guys on Hifi. Please be aware of this. DON'T purchase any thing from SARGAM ELECTRONICS.
Dont buy any 42ST30D Plasma from them they have only one piece left which I returned. The Serial number of Set is QN1310067..
Please share this Serial number with all your friends seeking Panasonic Plasma in Delhi NCR so that any other innocent should not get cheated.
