The LG PW1500g isn't a full HD projector. I would recommend finding a factory refurbished Epson 2030/40/45 should be within 500 USD and replacement lamps are reasonably priced, you can alternatively get a HT Benq 1070 or a optoma 142x for 500 USD but replacement lamps will be comparatively pricey

I recollect you had mentioned your liking for LG LED projectors some in other threads..

There is a LG PF1000 - FHD Projector on amazon.com (amazon warehouse deals) for $580.. The description says it has small cosmetic imperfection.. So you use discretion to buy it..

https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-lis...1508&sr=8-2&keywords=LG+PF1500&condition=used

I have requested my friend to pick one for myself.. The same model for abt $580. Should get it by end of feb..

If you friend has little time there, he can order it.. Once he receives the same, he can check thoroughly for any malfunction and return the goods in necessary..

On amazon.com, replacement lamps are around $80 - $120.. So here in India, it should be abt 10K INR..

Check Epson Sale. Epson Home Cinema 2000 is good enough to start with.
Personally I have seen Epson Home Cinema 2000, 2040 and Optoma HD142X. All 3 are comparably good.
