Please suggest some decent interconnects/cables

Hello Friends,
I am looking for a decent set of interconnects and speaker cables.
Don't want spend too much on cables and decent ones should do.
So, please suggest only budget interconnects.

Need:
1) Interconnects for source and pre-power amplifiers
2) decent speaker cables

Some brands I have heard are:
1. Chord
2. DAC
3. Audioquest

Any other I should consider in the budget range.

(Heard VDH is also good buy maybe costly)

Also what is your take on DIY CAT5/6 cables as speaker cables?

There are loads of big names when it comes to interconnects, but DAC is good value for money. Sometimes it is easy to go overboard when buying cables, but I prefer to stick with allocating 10% of total system cost to cables.
