Another great band from the 90s alternative scene are Grant Lee Buffalo. They're not as heavy as Creed, nor as accessible as Goo Goo Dolls, but an excellent band that unfortunately often slip under the radar.

The albums "Fuzzy" and "Mighty Joe Moon" are worth checking out

love it.

But for some reason, didn't like Perl Jam. They sound so....disjointed ??

IMHO, Soundgarden's brilliance showed through in their last album: Down On The Upside. The quality of the album is remarkable, and so is their experimentation.
