I have an x1400h but my TV is Sony Bravia. First please check if both ends of the HDMI is connected properly in both receiver and TV. Play any movie/video. There should be an option in audio settings in your TV which will ask you to select if the audio output is from TV or Audio System. You need to select Audio System.
