I would personally go with the Velodyne if it is within your budget. Also please note that this is a 10 inch sub-woofer. Considering your room size it may be a bit overpowering and you may have to turn it down.

Also what are your other speakers like? You have to careful to make sure that the velodyne matches your other front/rear speakers.
