Power Supply for Topping TP20

Received my Topping TP20 today, but without power supply. Please give some pointers on some good quality adaptors 5A 12v. Would be great if you could provide some shop details in Chennai or some links where I can order online.

Same here. Please refer to the thread on Topping. All details and recommendations are given there. For really good quality power, the recommendation is a linear power supply. Among the SMPS adapters, I've heard that Meanwell is supposed to be good. I've also posted the model number in the thread that fits the spec.

Just an Update

Even though the ebay sale has specifically mentioned that Power supply is not included, Got a surprise when I opened the package yestarday. The power supply was in the package. Only problem is that the plug is for US with flat 2 pin type. :sad:

Why be sad? A rupees 15 plug convertor will do the trick.

hehe exactly, you should overjoyed that you got a PSU without expecting it, a plug adapter is easy to get! How much did you pay? which seller was this? We must take a Topping census soon, i think there are quite a few already.

Hi Gobble, Thats exactly what I did. Thanks for the reply. I had a old printer adaptor, I took the plug cable (portion between mains and the actual adaptor) and used with the topping. The testing went well

Hi Psycotropic, The seller is the same from your thread. Paid 89$ Took 12 Days to reach. Excellent packing. Thanks to you for the great review. I never heard anything this good at this price point. Great little amp. The lossless itune songs could be directly played from ipod. The test was done using my old sony speakers. I can only imagine how much potential this little amp has and how good it will sound with decent speakers and cables.
