Preparing for HD TV

Hi,

I am renovating my house and was wondering if I should install some cables/conduits for HDTV from tata sky, etc.

1. Is there a special cable, other than Rx 6(?), from the dish to the TV?

When installing conduits, provision for:

1. Thick coaxial cable for Cable
2. Similar cable for D2H (Tata Sky etc)
3. LAN Cable (You will need this for Media Player, networked Blu Ray play in future)
4. 8 Speaker cables (For 7.1 channel system)

Of course you will not use most of it to begin with, but this is far cheaper than having to accommodate additional cables once interior has been done.

If you are going for such a good TV, then 5.1 speakers are as good as a must.
