Hi everybody,

This is my first post in this forum.

I'm looking out for multichannel (5.1) receivers from the Harman Kardon stable.

I'm from Bangalore. Do you know of any dealers in Bangalore who sell Harman Kardon AVRs.

Would be great to also get to know the pricing of AVR137/ AVR 146/ AVR 154.

Thanks & regards,
Shijy

Something to keep in mind with the HK brand specifically is that there were some quality issues lately around the AVRs for about 2 yrs. Not sure if the newer models have rectified all of these. Just an FYI. Do a search on google for "HK AVR Issues" and you will get tons of hits.

I only got to compare the specs on the internet. I'm yet to dig into quality issues. that's the reason - seeking information.

I just wanted to re-cycle my old Philips HTIB. The CD tray of my DVD Player has been stuck for ages and I've been using another stand-by DVD Player to power my HTIB. Not happy with the sound. Hence looking for an AVR with 30-50 rms/ch to drive the speakers of the HTIB.
