Price check.. How much to pay for sparingly used CA640c??

Just stumbled across an offer, totally offline.... Used less than 100 hours(claimed). Not sure which version it is.

What is the ideal rate to pay for? And what is the current market price, guys any idea?

Also can this Azur 640C give a better audio clarity (sound stage and separation) than DVDp/ PC/ WDTV paired with the Caiman or Maverick D1 DAC?

Strange. 50 views, 0 response! Just wanted to know if Rs. 11k is a good price? He says he will give at 50% of current market price which acc. to him is Rs. 22k...

Since the price is 22k, I think it's the 640C V2. Yes, it's a steal at 11k, but try to finish the deal at 10k, and you don't need a CDp for a very long time.

Is this someone you know well? Buying a used CD player is not advisable unless you are absolutely certain it has been well maintained. That is the greater concern than its superiority to dvd/wdtv combination. Not familiar with the DACs you mentioned so cannot comment on that aspect.
