There's a new MRX 500 available in ebay for $799, if you can find a way to ship it to India, reckon it'll still be 40% cheaper than what Kripa had quoted.

It is not as simple as it looks. First of all the shipping with in USA he has quoted 120 USD. Adding to that freight to India and 36% duty on CIF ultimately the landing will be more than 1.1lakhs. This is viable only if the same can be brought by hand as check in baggage. With all this it is going to be a 120V unit and you have to select 120V every time you upgrade the firmware though being used in 220V domain. So @ Rupinder no regrets.

That's a very tempting price.I bought a New anthem mrx 500 for rs 1.1 lac with Bill and warranty. If you want to buy for that price pm me.I will give you dealer number

The discounted price is not limited to the dealer from whom you got, this is being offered across India by all Anthem dealers may be with some dealers you have to stress. Moreover as far as the info I have they have 2 or 3 pieces only left over.

I could gather all these info before placing mine on sale here as I wanted to be doubly sure for pricing it right.

I have no regrets bala. I like the comfort of warranty from the company. You have priced your avr at a genuine price. But I have burnt my fingers at buying second hand electronic equipment. So gently don't buy used electronic products
