guys any clue of the price of NAD 355BEE - the sound blew me over. No Marantz or cambridge for me (i wish i had more money than the norge amp).

and moreover, deals, are secondary things, and they all depends on individuals..

I enquired about the PM7001 KI, as it was my first choice, but unfortunately they did not have it. It is a limited edition model and apparently production has been discontinued. The PM8003 is equivalent to the 7001KI - 70W, copper-coated back plate, gold-plated terminals, torodial transformer, the works...

The PM 7001 is available for 21K (with bill/warranty) at Viola, DN Nagar, link Rd, Andheri. Ph: 26231112. Speak to Kavish or Sailesh

thats best buy - IMHO great price. Can anyone give me a price that should be had for a NAD 325BEE - its a demo piece nearly a year old. The guy quoted 25k whioch IMHo is toooooo high.

I would have loved to go for the marantz but marantz has a slightly shrill signature - may not pair weel with my missions. Anyone paired the missions with the marantz - please comment

Hi Suprateep

NAD is definitely being quoted high. Have you also looked into used Arcam? They are excellent in resolution.

Ps. the model nos. are a bit misleading and you need to make sure you are paying for the cost of a used one

i do not mind 2nd hand equipment but options here in pune are limited. I only wish the people here would be as knowledgeable or passionate about HiFi as our southern counterparts. We would have more choices then....

Lets see i am gonna go to mumbai next month to see whats on offer.

i was quoted 25k for a demo piece - i did not bother to argue about the price but he will come down - incidentally the same guy offered me a discount of 4.5k and gave me the onkyo 606 on the old prices prevalent in Dec.

If i get it for around 20k - i don't mind taking it.
 
supra,the nad for <20k would be a great buy imo.pm magma for his take on the norge.the nad and norge mosfet have very similar sound signatures supposedly.also nads pair well with missions from what ive heard.remember,stick to ur budget.otherwise for every increment in spec comes expense,options and even more confusion!!:mad:.its a never ending quest!!cheers

i do understand......i auditioned the norge 1000/2030/2060/2000 mofset - norge 2000 is the most dissapointing with Quad/wharf etc.

I was impressed by the norge 1000 -will try to get for a home audition.

anyone who has paired the NADs with missions - please advice? the NAD price quoted is a turn off

Did you get a chance to audition the NAD315BEE with your missions?
It is rated 10w lesser than the 325 and cost much lesser.
