Printer suggestions

Hi all,

I'm planning to buy a printer, my requirement is :
1. Inkjet/laser with color(Laser might be expensive)
2. Good scanning is required
3. Budget of around 6K
4. Wifi printing
5. I will be printing around 50 to 100 per month and will be mostly using it for scanning.

Recently I got some books which needs to be scanned, initially thought of getting those scanned in a near by shop, but most of the shops here charge 5 rupees per page and it costs me around 3K just for scanning around 600+ pages, thats when I decided to buy printer with scanning capabilities.

Could you please know your thoughts on this or do you suggest any other printer?

Choose one which has a cartridge that can be refilled locally. I've switched from inkjet to laser for this very reason, having been burned by a Japanese (Canon) whose cartridge was both small, non refillable and expensive! I use an HP all in one (which has an inkjet printer) only for scanning duty and an HP laser printer for printing duty. I've had a long and satisfactory experience with an earlier HP laser printer which finally packed up, and can recommend their products, though the specific model you choose may have features that meet your needs.

I ended up buying HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545E, where the primary usage will be scanning, wireless printing and duplex printing. The printer is on the slower side and that is not a concern in my case, but definitely this is not the one for heavy duty. My usage is very less and is primarily for my daughter's school projects.
